Optronic system of piloting, night vision and target acquisition


- Helmet site, twin sensor binocular site, produced by Thales Avionics, allows either the pilot or gunner, at night or during the day, to designate their target visually and then transmit this directly to the computer system which in consequence modifies the aim of the weapon systems (cannon turret, missiles).
- Head up sight, produced by Thales Avionics, equips the pilots position. It allows the cannon or rockets to be fired in the aircraft's line of axis and is mainly for use in air-to-air engagement.
- OSIRIS Mast sight: Gyrostabilised system of vision (for HAD - UHT versions) produced by EADS missiles division, mounted on a mast, allows the use of anti-tank HOT and AC3G-LP missiles.
- STRIX Roof sight (for the HAP version) produced by SAGEM. A vision system for reconnaissance missions and use (automatic pursuit and servo-control) of the weapon systems. The SAGEM platform gyrostabilised in 2 axes has a thermal imager and a CCD TV camera, a telescope and a LASER telemeter
- FLIR Systems Inc (for UHT version), made for the main contractor Eurocopter, allows navigation and piloting at night.
