The Hub is to the Collaborative Platform (EP) as service stations, rest areas, restaurants and the emergency services are to motorways.
Exchanges between partners transit via the Hub which manages links, verifies rights of access, guarantees authentication, etc.
The Hub:
Offers partners services and communication tools,
Gives added value to exchanges (non repudiation, simplified archiving, etc.),
Implements the major part of the security facility.
The Hub is hosted within a secure Platform which is audited by the DGA’s expert departments.
Hub administration is conducted at several levels:
Hub system administration (prime contractor)
Hub application administration (contracting authority)
Administration of communities and partnerships (partners)
Day-to-day administration of resources is undertaken within the various communities.
