Why has the ministry of defence undertaken the dematerialisation of its public contracts?
By dematerialising its public contracts, the ministry of defence can pursue the following objectives:
Facilitate the access of companies, especially SME/SMI, to ministry of defence public contracts.
Help to optimise the internal functioning of the purchasing agencies in terms of productivity and reactivity.
Contribute to the simplification and modernisation of administrative procedures.
Take advantage of the benefits of dematerialisation with a view to a win/win scenario.
With the current introduction of appropriate tools, the electronic transmission of solicitation documents and submissions allow an improvement in transmission delays, greater ease in making use of solicitation documents and a reduction in costs. Because of this, both parties (public authority and companies) find it worthwhile to take advantage of these possibilities as soon as possible.
