Why does the portal "ixarm.com" have a “.com” domain name suffix and not “.gouv.fr”?
In contrast to all government internet sites which are required to follow presentational conventions including the use of a domain name with the suffix “.gouv.fr”, for this portal the requirement was waived and instead it has a “.com” suffix.
Indeed, over time the objective is to enable its use in partnership with, on the one hand, organisations which are not part of the administration, and secondly with French defence companies, as well as with other European purchasing organisations within the framework of the creation of the European defence identity and of a single defence equipment market.
