Platform Technology

The Collaborative Platform (EP) specifications have been structured around the following concepts:

1. Use simple, durable, client orientated standard technologies (W3C):

  Network: TCP/IP, IPSec

  Protocols: HTTPS, SMTP, NNTP

  Data exchange: XML, SOAP ...

  Languages and presentation: Java, XSL ...

2. Enable each player to integrate his information systems into an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) logic (languages XML, SOAP, ...).

3. Offer each player a unique and secure solution for his communications with his partners.

The Collaborative Platform (EP) is based on ENX, the European multi-operator network, initially developed by the automobile industry. This network, separate from the public Internet network, uses the technology of Ipsec tunnels.
