Bidding documents will be created using commercial office applications such as Word and Excel for which viewers are freely available on the Internet; these enable documents to be read.

There are also plans to offer the ability to publish the bidding document simultaneously on line in “pdf” format. Here again, this format can be read using a program freely available on the Internet (Acrobat Reader).

The same applies to the software compression utility (".zip" file) which will be used to reduce file sizes and hence download time.
