Formatting problems often occur when printing out electronic files. Is there any way to avoid this?

The use of the “pdf” format allows one to keep the same fonts and formatting as on the original document as long as the fonts in question are installed. The use of standard fonts (Arial, Times New Roman, etc.) for the most common file formats (Word, Excel, Autocad, etc.) also allows one to minimise this kind of inconvenience.
