This is a single-flow twin-shaft fixed turbine unit, specially designed to withstand desert and tropical temperatures, the corrosive effects of sea air, and the abrasive effects of sand. With a power output of nearly 6200 HP (4549 kW), it is a highly reliable engine with low consumption used for long-duration missions at low or very low altitudes.
