The PAAMS programme is being developed by the mains actors of european missile industry (MBDA, TAD, Selex, BAé) gathered inside EIG EUROPAAMS.

The state program management integrates a tri-national programme office (PPO: PAAMS Programme Office) and a Steering Committee).

All activity associated with development and industrialisation has been under contract since August 1999. The end of PAAMS system qualification test is expected for the begining of 2007. The first ships equipped with this system should enter service in 2008.
