Contractual documents

There are two types of contractual document :

1) Special documents

  1. Deed of commitment This is raised in one original copy, and signed by the contract supervisor and the contractor.
  2. Special administrative clauses (CCAP) This document sets out the commitments of the parties regarding administrative aspects of the contract not covered in the CCAG.
  3. Contract data requirements (CCTP) This document serves the same purpose as the CCAP but for technical aspects.

Any purchase order coupons there may be are also contractual documents.

2) General documents

These include the following (the list is not exhaustive) :

  1. General administrative clauses (CCAG): There are currently four CCAGs: one for intellectual services (PI), others for industrial contracts (MI), building works, and goods and services (FCS). These are officially approved documents containing general conditions for certain types of service, with a view to simplifying the writing of the contract. With the new CMP, they are no longer mandatory. The PRM decides whether or not to refer to one of them.
  2. Standard administrative clauses (CAC): This document is specific to the DGA. It is part of the contract and is common to all armed services. The CAC was published in the BOA (Official Bulletin for the Armed Forces) of June 2000. It is supplemented by a CAC/Quality, published in the BOA of 30 October 2000.
  3. Accounting instructions: These include specific clauses that enable manufacturers’ costs to be checked by the administration.
