DRIRE (Directions Régionales de l’Industrie, de la Recherche et de l’Environnement)
The DRIRE has many and varied roles, which include supporting SMI development. To this end it:
Provides individual assistance to companies to complete their development projects mainly by using financial aid intended for companies, by scrutinizing and monitoring individual applications for grants.
Formulates and coordinates actions to promote conditions that favour company development. Structural motivation aims primarily at ensuring that synergies are developed between companies and their environment and includes the implementation of actions to raise awareness of the major challenges to SME/SMI development.
