Product quality assurance requirements
The DGA quality policy related to equipment and services ordered to suppliers, takes the form of quality assurance and management requirements included within the contracts of production programmes.
The basement of this policy lies on the accountability of contractor suppliers. It has to be applied from the design stage of defence systems and equipment.
The quality assurance requirements, framed in the contract conditions, make reference to the particular common administrative terms and conditions relative to procurement quality assurance (CAC AQF) and the latest provisions on the handling of non-compliance (CAC NC).
In particular, the suppliers’ contractual obligations include the definition of proof, enabling the DGA to assess compliance with the contract conditions.
