The PANTHER AS 565, which is the military version of the DAUPHIN, is a twin turbine, medium class helicopter with a "fenestron" for the tail rotor and is manufactured by the company EUROCOPTER. It is available in different versions: as a transport helicopter, an attack helicopter or as a helicopter for the Navy in its AS 565 SA version. In this case, it improves the observation, reconnaissance and attack capability of the ship to which it is attached.

It has been in service with the French Navy since 1995.

The versatility of the PANTHER AS 565 along with its excellent performance is making this helicopter a commercial success regarding cooperation and export.
